Disputes Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.

For European Union (EU) Users

If You are a European Union consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You are resident.

Severability and Waiver

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under these Terms shall not affect a party’s ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter nor shall the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Translation Interpretation

These Terms and Conditions may have been translated if We have made them available to You on our Service. You agree that the original English text shall prevail in the case of a dispute.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.

Services Provided

Harris Heating Limited provides a wide range of plumbing, heating, and gas services to residential and commercial customers in the United Kingdom. Our services include, but are not limited to, installation, repair, and maintenance of boilers, central heating systems, gas appliances, and general plumbing work.

Pricing and Payments

  • All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the current rate and are valid for 2 weeks only.
  • A deposit may be required for certain jobs, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the work.
  • Deposit on jobs over £500: half first.
  • Payment can be made by cash, debit/credit card, or bank transfer. We do not accept cheques.
  • We ask all payments to be made within 7 days
  • Any outstanding balances not paid within 30 days of invoice will incur a late payment fee of 2% per month.
  • Please move anything of value, sentimental, pictures, ornaments, mirrors as we could be drilling which causes vibration and moving materials and tools
  • We won’t take any responsibility for anything existing that falls, damages or breaks. We will move a few items but take no responsibility for any damages items through out works carried out
  • If working in lofts we will be as careful as we can but if loft isn’t suitable boarded out we will not take responsibility as we need to work up there but if not safe access we can’t cover damages

Warranties and Guarantees

All labour is provided by Harris Heating Ltd and is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion.

Any new equipment, valves, fittings and fixtures that installed and supplied by Harris heating will be under manufacturers warranty , we can assist customers in making any warranty claims.

Our workmanship is of the highest standard, and we are Gas Safe registered. However, we cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing issues or damage to a customer’s property.

Existing pipework fittings and equipment that existing or if we connect onto will not be covered by Harris Heating Ltd

Existing isolations valves that we use to turn off water, if they leak or don’t open but up again that’s not because of Harris Heating Ltd, it’s just old valves that we can’t cover on our side

If we need access for leaks or damages , we will make access via holes or making access in other ways. Please not this is part of the job but we are not covered to make good, we can price this separately and it not part of the plumbing repair. If possible we will screw it back up.
Scheduling and Access

Appointments will be scheduled at a mutually agreed time. We will make every effort to arrive on time, but cannot guarantee exact arrival times due to the nature of our work.

Customers must provide clear and safe access to the work area. Any delays or additional costs incurred due to access issues will be the responsibility of the customer.

Cancellation and Refunds

Customers may cancel an appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice without penalty.

Deposits or pre-payments will only be refunded if the work has not yet commenced.

Harris Heating Ltd reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

New plumbing fixtures and fittings , for example taps toilets etc supplied by customer / others, if issues occur with items and need further works after installation do to manufactures issues or faults etc this isn’t covered in our costings and we will need to price separately for our time used to resolve
Liability

Harris Heating Ltd maintains comprehensive insurance coverage, but cannot be held liable for any consequential or indirect damages.

Customers are responsible for informing us of any hazardous materials or conditions that may be present in their property.
